We received extraordinary service. The staff at 126 went above and beyond to make my partner’s birthday special. The food was incredible. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back!

Love this restaurant! They have a super creative menu that appeals to all sorts of different dietary goals. Plenty of healthy but tasty things on the menu. My butternut squash puffs were delicious. My partner had the skirt steak and it was really good! The classic cocktails are all very good. Great service. Feels fancy without being pretentious. Had a great time for my birthday dinner last weekend!

Man. Oh, man. My birthday dinner was out of this world. First off, Amy is a masterful server. I never noticed once that my water was empty, it was constantly full. I'm the little things right? When my m dinner was served, her timing was dead on. She waited until I had tried everything in my plate before asking the requisite, "How is your entree?" Top notch service! My food was amazing. The steak was perfectly seared, but still tender and rare. And so flavorful! The atmosphere is French Bistro-ish. Oh, and ask for the Mocktail. They only have one, but it's great! Thank you!

We were visiting our son in Iowa City this weekend and took him and a few of his friends to dinner at 126. Excellent food and experience. My wife and I both had the mushroom gnocchi with the baklava for dessert. Both were outstanding. Everyone else loved their dinners, as well. We’ll be back in future trips to IC.

If you love good food you must visit Moonrakers. Pulled pork Cuban is out of this world, maybe the Moon. I love my soup very hot, and without asking, that is how it came out. I will absolutely be back. Nicely done

I love One Twenty Six. I take my family and friends here when they haven’t been and we’ve had nothing but great experiences. I’m obsessed with their Scottish salmon (the best salmon I’ve ever had- hands down), osso bucco, salads, crab cakes, samosas, croquetas, and we most recently tried their Pork Vindaloo which was served French style. I love the blending of Indian flavors and French cooking. They have great wine selection. Mathew the owner is right there with his servers talking to customers and working hard which we also thought was awesome. The other servers on his team have also been fantastic, knowledgeable and fun to talk to. This place is elegant, but not stuffy at all. It makes for a great dinner before catching a show at the Englert or Riverside theater. As Mathew would say- “try something different!” Every time you go here. You won’t be disappointed. Mathew- if you could look into carrying some vermouths like Cocchi Torino, we’d love that

I had the roasted chicken sandwich and the po' boy sandwich. Both were fresh and amazing! The hand-cut fries were a great touch. I can't wait to return.

Although this food is on the pricey side, it's worth it. It is some buttery melt in your mouth goodness! The lamb shank was divine and worth every penny. We also did the gnocchi with crab and we did the salmon as well. Also the creme brulee and the chocolate tart are to die for! Also I've never had a mushroom tart quite like that. And the samosas were so delicious! The waiter told me everything was made on site and fresh and local. Highly recommend!
